Jared Brockmeyer

The following statement from the Colts has been released on the Colts web site that Jared will be taking up a key position on the staff as visual c0-caption head with Mikey Cowan for the 2008 Colts. This is a great achievement and on behalf of the 37th we extend our best wishes and many congratulations to a true technician.

The 2008 season will mark Jared's ninth year of involvement with the Colts Drum & Bugle Corps, and his fifth on the visual staff. Since joining the corps' soprano bugle line in 1999, Jared has been a constant and proud member of the Colts organization. Jared's contributions to the marching activity have been as drill writer, clinician, judge, and teacher throughout the midwest, as well as acting as a clinician to the 37th Kingswood Drum & Bugle Corps. Jared is a graduate of Truman State University (Kirksville, MO), where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Music, as well as his Masters of Arts in both music and education. Jared resides in Minonk, IL with his wife Sara, and acts as Director of Bands for the Midland School District.
